I was raised on the South Plains of Texas. My imagination has been my best tool in creating unique oil paintings. As a young boy, Walt Disney opened my eyes to a world of curious characters and vivid color. While studying Art at Texas Tech University, I was awarded a scholarship to Taos, New Mexico, which awakened me to the basic essence of becoming an artist. After 35 years of working in the Advertising field, I am now a full time oil painter. I have showed in numerous First Friday Art Trails. My Studio and Artwork have been in two of the Local Color Studio Tours. You can see my Art displayed at Natural Accents Gallery in Taos, New Mexico and Cafe J & Funky Door in Lubbock, Texas. I am a member of the Lubbock Arts Alliance and Caprock Cultural Association. You will find me painting in my Studio most days of the week, or collecting images and ideas in Taos.
